PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

6/3/13 Hoss is a sweet baby who has had a very rough start in life. His mom is a beagle named Lolly. We got a call that there was a beagle hit by a car and when we arrived to help, we discovered that not only had Lolly been hit by a car, but she had also suffered multiple gun shot wounds, and was about to give birth. What an unthinkably horrible life this poor sweet girl had. We took Lolly in and helped her with her delivery, had her wounds treated, and she is on her way to a full recovery. Sadly, of her 10 babies, only 2 of them survived. They are Starla and Hoss. Of course we do not know what Lolly was bred with, and there may be different males involved. There is a big difference in Starla and Hoss' sizes. Hoss is much stockier than Starla. He is also more confident, being the bossy one of the 2. But he is also very sweet and loves attention. He gets along very well with other puppies and dogs, and doesn't seem to have any shyness. Hoss is about 8 weeks old and is located in ARkansas. He will be transported to the northeast once adopted. Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
