American Bulldog / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed : : Female : : Baby : : Medium
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.
11/4/15 These babies were rescued from a high kill shelter in AR. They were in very bad shape when rescued but have thrived under the care of their rescuer and are doing very well now. They are now about 8 weeks old and have been spayed/neutered, and they are ready for homes of their own. These little ones are nothing but love. They are so gentle and cuddly, and just beg to be held and snuggled. They were very young when dumped at the shelter so didn't get as much time with their mom as they should have. This can sometimes result in negative social skills but in their case it is just the opposite. I think they transferred their need for mom to their rescuer, and they just love people so much. They are very gentle to be such young babies, so they would be a good match for families with young kids, cats, other dogs, etc. These babies are still located here in Arkansas and will be transported to the northeast once adopted. For more info, email kelley.aasr@gmail.com Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
