**BEAR is currently located in a foster home in Benton, Arkansas, but can be transported to you on Got Orphans Transport for $140. Please visit www.gotransporters.com and look under 'transport details' to see the stops they make in your area. ** BEAR is a 14 month old BEAUTIFUL Golden Retriever / Black Lab mix who is so full of love for people, children, other dogs, and even cats!! He has some characteristics of a Rottweiler we think - his head is larger, and his facial features are Rottie. BEAR loves to play, he is full of energy, and would be great in a home with active adults and/or children. He does not have a 'mean' bone in his body !! Sweet BEAR had been with the same family since he was a baby. Sadly, the family is broken, and BEAR paid the price by being taken to the local animal control where he faced euthanasia. Benton Animal Control is wonderful. They try so hard to find homes - foster homes - rescues - any way possible to save the lives of the animals in their care. ARRUFF saw this sweet guy, and we had to save his life. We rescued him from the possibility of him losing his life, and he is now happy, and playing in the huge back yard at his foster home :) BEAR will walk on a leash, or walk you, ha. He would be perfect after a basic obedience class. His attention wanders, as any young dogs' does, there's just so much he wants to see, smell, and experience. BEAR has been neutered, is up to date on yearly shots, rabies vaccination, bordatella, is worm free, and has tested negative for heartworms :) He is protected by Advantix II which protects him from fleas, ticks, and other critters. BEAR will get another thorough vet check and a health certificate before traveling. For additional information or questions, please contact krun11@sbcglobal.net We can send you an application to fill out and return to the same email address. Applications are processed in the order they are received, so get your app in ASAP!! BEAR's adoption donation is $300 which covers all vetting received, and the health certificate to travel.
