PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

THOR is a precious 7 month old 100% sweetheart -what a handsome, gentle guy!

His birthday was November 29, 2013 - he will be 7 months old on 6/29/14 :) As of today, 6/25/14, he weighs 46 pounds. Picture #3 gives you an idea of his size right now :) He is crashed out after playing hard all day!!

THOR knows his name. He has been with the same family since he was a baby, and they have asked our help to find him the wonderful forever home that he deserves. He is very obedient and knows how to 'sit' and also 'lie down'. His previous owners used to train Labs for hunting, so THOR has received some training as well.

THOR's doggy mom is a 70-80 pound Rottweiler, and his daddy is a Yellow Lab that is almost at 100 pounds. We expect THOR to be a large dog like his Dad.

THOR loves ALL people - men, women, babies, small to older children -- he, and his sister, Cali Mae, AND all the cats love to all snuggle together on the bed with their humans. He has been spoiled rotten, and he is housebroken !! Cats will not be a problem :) He loves them!!

THOR will always let you know when he needs to go outside to use the bathroom ! He is also a little 'hunter' ha - if he sees like a snake in the yard, he is on it and kills it !! Good for people in the country - he will protect you from those meanies.

THOR loves to play, loves to run in the yard with the other doggies, and is even housebroken already!! He is not a barker, just a fellow who loves people and love :)

THOR would rather have a life where he has room to run vs apartment life, he is not really fond of a crate as he has never had to use one, and would need to be trained on a leash - he is not real used to them right now...living in the country, he hasn't really had to be walked on a leash, but we are working on that :)

THOR has been neutered, is up to date on all puppy shots, bordetella, is worm free, and is protected by Advocate which protects the puppies from heartworms, fleas, ear mites and other critters.

THOR will get another thorough vet check and a health certificate before traveling.

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
