About Truvie

3/6/14 Truvie...I can't say enough good things about her. Can't even begin to describe how wonderful she is but I will try. Truvie was found as a stray. Her coat had been shaved down to the skin and she had been abandoned in the freezing cold. I took her in and have loved her since that moment. She is absolutely wonderful. Truvie is totally crate ad house trained- she has never had an accident while here. She is not a barker. She loves everyone she meets, but is a little bit reserved right at first, until she knows you like her, then she is all lap dog and wants to be attached at the hip. Truvie loves men and women alike, and would do best with older children, maybe 8-10years old and up, depending on the child of course. Truvie is not particularly nervous natured but I wouldn't want to place her in a home with very young rambunctious kids, because I want her to be happy, relaxed, and comfortable. Truvie wants only to be in your lap at all times. She gets along very well with other dogs, large and small, male and female, but she does get a little jealous if they try to take the attention of her person. She doesn't act on the jealousy, she just snarls her lip, which is funny with her small stature. She weighs about 15lbs and we believe she is about 4 years old. Truvie was diagnosed with heartworms and I've had her treated, as well as spayed and brought up to date on vaccinations. Truvie will make a wonderful companion for anyone looking for a little friend to love and have as a companion. She does not require a large yard - she is very mellow and doesn't care to spend hours outdoors running. She is more of a couch potato and lap dog. She would be ideal for apartment or condo life. Truvie is located in Arkansas and will be transported to the northeast once adopted. For more info, email Kelley.aasr@gmail.com
