About Jayden

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: Jayden
  • Location: 72002

1/6/14

Jayden is growing and learning every day!  He is now 12 pounds, confidently runs up and down the stairs on his own, and knows sit, down, and paw.  Jayden is perfectly crate trained and has been sleeping through the night beautifully for over a week now.  His house training is also going very well.  He's not perfect yet, but he'll be there soon.  Jayden has also started exploring the back yard on his own, which makes housetraining much easier!  We simply let him outside and off he goes!

His personality is really coming through- he loves playing with people, other dogs (big ones, especially!!).  Jayden loves everyone he comes in contact with!  People also love the fact that Jayden is very quiet- he only whines or barks to play or go out. Jayden loves to play tug and fetch.  The weather in CT has been really cold and rainy, so Jayden has gotten into the routine of bringing us a toy, playing tug, losing, and then fetching the toy when we throw it.  It's easy for us and fun for him. :)

Overall, Jayden's favorite thing to do is cuddle.  He loves sitting in your lap and being hugged.  Each morning, I open up his crate to let him out and sit on the floor with him for a moment.  He immediately crawls into my lap and curls up.  He's looking forward to the day when he'll be able to do that with his forever family.

Jayden is located in a foster home in CT. For more info, email kelley.aasr@gmail.com
