BOONE is a shepherd/hound mix pup found abandoned and starving in a remote rural area.  We estimate his date of birth to be 3/01/13.  He is the largest male in the litter and will likely mature to weigh 45-50 lb.  Boone loves to lie down in the wading pool and plays well with his five siblings.  He has a calm, reserved temperament, and will sit quietly chewing on something while the others are running around.  He is quite smart and likes to "observe" before jumping into the fray.  Although reserved in nature, Boone is friendly and affectionate with his human without being overly-needy.  He is neutered, fully-vaccinated, de-wormed, and current on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. This dog is currently located in Arkansas and will be transported to the northeast once adopted. For more information please email kelley.aasr@gmail.com.
