5/20/13 Bella is a beautiful girl who came to us as a 12 week old puppy. She, her littermates, and their sweet mama were all owner surrendered to us due to financial hardship. Bella's mom is a pure boxer, and we don't know what dad is, but with her slender, sleek body, Bella is built much like a greyhound, so that's a possiblility. Bella was adopted from us but was returned in early April, due to some GI issues that had not been diagnosed and her adoptive family really just could not afford to do all the diagnostics that the vet recommended. So, once the owner surrendered her, she went to a great foster home in MA and that is where she still is. We have had her to the vet many times, and finally have a diagnosis of Boxer Colitis. It is being managed with medication and diet, and Bella has gained weight and is doing very well. This is what Bella's foster mom has to say about her: "I am Bellas foster Mommy, Bella is the most loving dog anyone can could imagine. She loves kids, people and other dogs. When Bella came to me she was sick scared & confused and did not know was going on. Bella was diagnosed with Boxer Colitis and with the help of Halifax Vet she is on the right track and this is cureable according to the vet. She was so confused when she came to my house we had some issues with separation. She goes to daycare and training at Doggie Fun and Fitness in Kingston MA and she has made leaps and bounds she is so well behaved walks perfect on a leash no problems when I leave the house. She loves to snuggle with anyone that will allow her. She loves to walk and play and loves the company of other dogs. All she wants is a family to love and family to love her. And she deserves that she has taken a part of my families heart and she deserves the heart of a whole family. She is one amazing dog but you have to meet to her to know her. Pictures do not do her justice you will fall in love with her at first meeting. She is a little over a year old and has been bounced around. Its time she finds her FUR- Ever Home." Bella loves the companionship of other dogs, and adores children of all ages.
