5/20/13 Jaci is one of the sweetest dogs that I've ever known. She was found as a stray, in a rural area of Arkansas. She was scavenging for food near a trash pile, on the roadside. She was starving and infested with ticks ad fleas. Jaci's rescuer said that when she stopped her car and got out, she was a bit afraid, not knowing how Jaci would react to a stranger. But Jaci just came right to her, as if she knew that she was there to help. Jaci is very gentle and sweet natured. She gets along exceptionally well with other dogs, but would also do fine as an only dog. Jaci is completely crate trained and does great in her crate. She tested light positive for heartworms and will be treated this week. She is otherwise healthy and will make a great addition to a family with older children, as I think young ones may make her a little bit nervous, but of course it would depend on the child's individual personality/activity level. Jaci is currently located in Arkansas and will be transported to the northeast once adopted.
