This sweet girl is Christa. She was born to a stray mom that looks to be shepherd/lab and maybe a little Schipperke. The mom is very sweet and takes really good care of the babies and we will be looking for her a home of her own also. Christa doesn't really look anything like her mom- so we have no idea what the dad was-or dads! Christa is 5 weeks as of 3-10-13 and she can go to her forever home when she is 8 weeks old. Christa is located in Arkansas and will only be transported to the Northeast once she is adopted. for more info on this sweet girl, email kelley.aasr@gmail.com   (4-6-13 UPDATE ON CHRISTA)My name is Sandy and I am the foster mom to Christa. I was also the foster mom to all her siblings that left this week for their forever homes up in the Northeast. Christa was adopted but the adopters backed out because Christa has a bit of a tremor sometimes when she is just standing and looking at us or she gets nervous- We noticed it before but we just thought she was nervous when we messed with her or took her to the vet and stuff. She is normal in every other way- in fact- the vet commented that she was one of the sweetest in the litter. She is ready to go to her forever home now- she is up to date on age appropriate vet care but it will be up to the adopter to have her spayed when she is around 6 months old. We obviously cannot guarantee that she will not get worse but she has not gotten in worse since we first noticed the shaking- most people don't even notice it until she gets nervous or tired. Adopting Christa will truely be saving a life because unfortunately most folks want the perfect dog but we don't believe in just putting a dog down for something as simple as just a little tremor. Christy runs good- eats, plays, poops and everything else just like a normal pup. The transport we use is Got Orphans Transport and you can check them out at gotransporters.com They are wonderful people.
