Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. Chi/Long-haired dachsund
CLAIRE is a chihuahua/long-haired miniature dachsund mix who was sold for $10 in an internet "garage sale". A kind person "purchased" her to save her from an uncertain fate. We estimate her date of birth to be February 2012, and she is fully-grown at 9.4 lb. She is fully-vaccinated, de-wormed, heartworm negative and will soon be spayed. Claire was born to be someone's wonderful little lap dog. She is sweet and affectionate. She is initially a little shy of strangers but warms up quickly once she feels safe. Claire is good with older children (age 6 and up) but would probably be frightened of younger children who run and scream because she's so tiny. She is leash-trained and making progress toward being house-trained. Once properly introduced, she gets along well with other small dogs. She is not a snappy, yappy little dog, but she does like to chase cats. This dog is currently located in Arkansas and will be transported to the northeast once adopted.
