Cattle Dog/Mtn Cur Mix
Penny was found wandering a country road, hungry and alone. We estimate her date of birth at about 11/15/11. She is lovely and very affectionate, weighing 45-50 lbs. We really don't know what breed she is, but she has a cute little bobbed tail, and we think she may be a Mtn. Cur mix. She is a bit shy with strangers but once she knows you, she wants a hug. Penny currently lives in a foster home with many other dogs. She plays well with the others but would love to have a home where she would not have to share her human with so many others. She has even learned not to chase the older cats, but the young crazy one who taunts her still gets a rise out of her. She is impeccably house-trained, walks on-leash and sleeps quietly on her little dog bed all night long without soiling or fussing. Penny is an intelligent, sensitive girl. She is also extremely athletic and can run like the wind. Penny is spayed, de-wormed, current on vaccinations and on flea/tick and heartworm preventive. She is currently located in Arkansas and will be transported to the northeast once adopted.
