Husky / Airedale Terrier / Mixed : : Female
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.
10/11/11 These beautiful babies were born to "Curly". Curly is an Airedale Terrier mix, who was picked up as a stray by an Animal Control Officer. Since she wasn't claimed by her owner and the shelter was full, she was scheduled to be euthanized. Our rescue group pulled her from the shelter, and that is when we discovered she was pregnant. Poor girl, to be pregnant and in such a horrible place! The puppies were born on 5/17/11, just a few days after she got out of the shelter and into her wonderful foster home. The puppies look very much like huskies. Only 2 of them have the wiry hair of an Airedale. These babies are now about 5 months old, and as you can see, Franki loves to play in her water bucket! For more info on these gorgeous babies or Curly, email kelley.aasr@gmail.com *Franki is located in ARkansas but once adopted, transport to the northeast will be arranged.* Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
