About Reini

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Ear Type: Natural/Uncropped

12/14/10

Reini is the best little girl! She was dumped here, along with her 4 puppies. I came home one day, and there they all were, in a crate in my front yard. :( Poor babies. I'm sure she was dumped because her owner didn't want to deal with puppies and wasn't responsible enough to have Reini spayed.

Reini has the sweetest, most affectionate personality. She absolutely adores people! All she wants is some attention. We think Reini is about 1-2 years old. She is still playful and will entertain herself with sticks, rocks, water bottles, anything she can find. She is gentle and would be good with kids as long as they are respectful of her. But she does prefer adults to children. She gets along fine with other dogs. Her only drawback is that she can and will climb or dig out of a fence/kennel, so she needs a home with lots of acreage where she won't feel confined, or an indoor home. She doesn't want to go anywhere when she escapes, she has never left my yard. She just comes up to the house and wants attention.

Reini has not been housetrained, so her new owner will need to teach her what is acceptable house behavior. But she is super smart and will learn fast! She has been spayed and is current on all vaccinations. Reini has heartworms and has been started on the slow kill treatment. She walks very well on a leash. She is so deserving of a family and home of her own.
