About Lord Ruffenstein

9/7/24 Here we have Lord Ruffenstein! If everyone could please sh@re!
He is about 5-6 months old. We do not know his breed for sure, but Lab mix? More than likely, he is a mix of several breeds...all American mutt!
Lord Ruff is the shy, quiet type when introduced to new people or surroundings. He is very observant and it takes some time for him to feel comfortable. He gets along great with other dogs and people of all ages. He has started letting us know when someone is walking past our yard by giving a gruff little bark. He is learning to walk on a leash, does well on car rides, crate trained, 90% housebroken, and is overall very quiet. He would love the companionship of a more confident dog at his new home but this isn't a requirement. If he is to be an only dog, he will be alright with that as well. However, his adopter must understand his personality and not overwhelm him with too much, too soon. He attends doggy daycare 3 times a week and is making all kinds of friends. They say he comes out of his shell more and more every day. He is not a rough player, so he would do well in a home with young children. Lord Ruff loves spending his time lounging on the couch being talked to and given belly rubs. As with any puppy, he does feel the need to put things in his mouth that he's not supposed to so supervision will be required when he is out of his crate. Once he is out of his puppy phase, he should settle into being a wonderful family member. He has not been around cats but he is just a puppy and given his shy nature, he should be fine, given adult training and guidance of course.
He is neutered, UTD on vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
Located in Arkansas, but transport is available.
Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
