Copper is 1/2 Poodle and 1/2 German Shepherd. He was born in March 2023, so he's just over 6 months old now and weighs about 40 lbs, but should be closer to 50, he is very malnourished. He was part of an accidental litter (owners failed to get their dogs spayed/neutered) and was still with the owner until a week ago when we saw how malnourished him and his brother were, and we placed them with one of our wonderful fosters. He is already gaining weight and doing so much better! Copper is very friendly and sweet natured, and he gets along great with other dogs! He has the energy of a young dog but is not hyper. He is very smart and eager to learn. In his foster home, he is learning to be crate trained and is picking up on the new concept very quickly. Until he went to his foster him, he was kept strictly outdoors, so living inside is new for him, but he is enjoying the attention his foster family gives him and is soaking up all the love! This beautiful boy will make a fantastic family member! He is gentle and good with kids as well. We have had him neutered, heartworm tested (negative), placed on heartworm/flea/tick prevention, microchipped, and brought up to date with vaccinations.

Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
