PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

6/12/23 Meet Elmer! This little guy is believed to be a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix (Chiweenie). His mom was rescued from a terrible hoarding situation and was pregnant when rescued. So thankfully her babies never had to live in that awful situation. Elmer was born 4/8/23, making him about 9 weeks old. He is a happy, friendly little pup! Our guess is 10-12 pounds when he is full grown. He of course is just a puppy and is good with other dogs, young enough to learn to live with cats and kids. He will be neutered soon and ready for adoption next week.
When adopted he will be neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and started on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
Harrisburg, PA 2am Fridays
Port Jervis, NY 5am Fridays or
Southington, CT 8am Fridays
East Hartford, CT 11am Fridays

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
