About Edith

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Declawed: No
  • Housetrained: Yes

Edith…you may remember her. She was adopted a few weeks ago to what we thought was the perfect home. Long story short, the adopter really didn’t seem to have much patience for a dog and Edith has come back to rescue.
Some may call her a Plain Jane. But let me tell you, this girl SHINES when it comes to personality! We think she is adorable with her big, soft ears, deep brown eyes, and petite size of 24 lbs. She is friendly with everyone she meets. She is very social with other dogs and doesn't bother the cat. Her favorite thing in the world is belly rubs! It was hard to get good photos of her because she kept flopping over for a belly rub. Edith is house trained (may have a few accidents at first) and crate trained. It is hard to guess her age, but we are thinking she is around 4 years old. She is definitely an adult but doesn't seem to be a senior. Her teeth are nice and clean. This little sweet heart is a gem. Her new family will be very lucky to have such a loving, loyal girl to love them. We believe she is a beagle mix, but that's purely a guess. She does not howl or seem to want to hunt like many hounds do, and really doesn't exhibit any hound behavior, but her ears and overall appearance seem to suggest beagle, so that's what we are going with. Edith has been spayed, brought up to date on vaccinations, tested negative for heartworms, started on heartworm and flea/ tick prevention, and microchipped. She is ready to find her forever home.
