PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

Clementine
My goodness, what a stunner with those eyes! Miss Clementine is a unique little girl who came into rescue a few months ago. Like so many others, she was a stray who was never claimed. Clementine is a stocky, short legged girl who weighs a solid 45 lbs. Her face is so deceiving because she looks like a senior dog, with her white muzzle, but her muzzle is actually white and brindle, and we believe she is only about 3 years old. She is really fast. She loves riding in the truck and she walks about 3 miles a day, in two or three walks. She still tries to bolt for a squirrel, rabbit, or cat, but is improving. Not good with cats. She never actually met the cat in her foster home, but acted very predatory through the window. She loves playing in the water hose spray and she takes herself for swims in the pool. She is pretty competitive about getting balls, either on land or water, and tries to take them right out of the other dogs' mouths. She gets along fine with the other dogs, even as large as Great Danes. She doesn’t really play with them or with toys, but she coexists just fine with them. She is a good jumper too, for one with short legs. See pic of her on the table, I don’t know how she did that! She knows sit and stay. She does still jump up on you as a greeting, but that is her only negative and she is gentle about it. She stays loose in her room and has never had an accident inside or been destructive. And she is very quiet, only barking if someone drives up. Her tummy skin is still a bit loose, but much tighter than when we got her.
Clementine is a good girl and is all ready for a home of her own! She did have heartworms but has been treated and had no issues with the treatment. She is doing great and is thriving in her foster home, but she is ready to find her forever family!
Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
