About Styx

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog

Meet Styx!
This little girl will need a special home. She is part of a group of dogs that were taken in from a hoarder situation that was beyond horrific. All of these dogs are incredibly shy and scared. However, after only a week in their foster homes, they are coming around. They will each require adopters who are very patient and calm around them, while they adjust and learn that they are safe. These babies would not be candidates for families with young children or homes that are super busy/loud. Styx is probably around 2-4 years old and weighs 10-12 lbs. She is a chihuahua mix. Styx has made great progress in the past week. We have noticed that she is much more confident when she has another confident dog to mentor her. Preference will be given to adopters who have at least 1 other dog who is kind and welcoming. Styx wants to be loved, she just isn't quite there yet, but she's making great strides in the right direction!
