PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

Minnie is a beautiful little mini Australian Shepherd who was a breeder surrender. She has been in rescue since November 2022. Minnie is very sweet and submissive. She is also extremely shy. It took her 3 months to get comfortable enough in her foster home to get in bed with her foster mom and really seek out affection from her. She is great with the 10 year old little girl in her her foster home, as well as the other dogs and cats. She does not seem to have the herding tendency that her breed is known for, nor is she super high energy as most aussies are. She is very docile and sweet, but timid.
*a fenced yard is a must, due to her timidity and the possibility of her running if given the chance*
She will need a family who is willing to give her lots of time and patience before expecting her to show affection. Once she gets comfortable and knows she is safe, she will be a very loyal, loving companion. We hope the right family will see her and give her a chance. She is 1 year old and about 30 lbs. She had a beautiful smile when she's excited!
Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
