About Wally

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog

8/16/22 Wally is a little smaller than his brother Walker but is higher energy. Although he is high energy, he loves to snuggle as well, and just loves to be the center of your world. He has been kept indoor/outdoors due to his foster mom’s home is a little too small for crating everyone. Wally was an emergency intake, he was a stray (likely dumped) along with his 2 brothers and 1 sister. We are so thankful his foster mom opened her home to them! Walker is housetrained and sleeps inside on the sofa. He is still young, only about 8 months old, so he will chew on things when left unattended. We do strongly recommend crate training once he’s in his new home, for his safety and the safety of your belongings! Wally is smart and knows to wait until his name is called before he eats. His foster mom has trained him this way to eliminate any issues at feeding time, since she has multiple fosters and dogs of her own. He also knows “sit” but hasn’t quite the hang of “stay” yet. Wally is great with other dogs and kids, but chases cats and would probably injure one if he ever caught one. He weighs about 55lbs and we think he will be around 70lbs once mature. He is neutered, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccinations.

Located in Arkansas, but transport is available. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them at one of the following times/locations.
Harrisburg, PA 2am Fridays
Port Jervis, NJ 5am Fridays
Southington, CT 8am Fridays
East Hartford, CT 11am Fridays
