8/30/22 Henry is still available! 8/13/22 Say hello to Henry! Henry was found as a stray, along with another dog. They were likely dumped, but thankfully one of our amazing fosters stepped up and took them in. Our vet believes Henry is about 5 months old. His breed is a guess based on his looks. Perhaps Catahoula mix? He’s more than likely a Heinz 57! He’s friendly, good with other dogs, good with kids, but not good with cats. He knows “sit” and is doing well with crate training. He is about 36 pounds currently. The other dog found with him, Maisie, is adopted. Edited to add more info from his foster mom: Henry is one of my two foster dogs. He is the perfect "in between" dog. He is in between large and small, his fur is thick but not too long, affectionate but not demanding of your attention, content to play and wrestle with Maisie (his companion), or happy to chill with a chew toy by himself too. He is very friendly and gentle. I've never heard him growl and he hardly barks. The vet said he didn't like cats, but I suspect it's because he was crated at the vet's office for two days and the resident vet cats kept walking right in front of his kennel. He is just an easy dog to have around. Located in Arkansas, transport to the northeast available. Adopter will need to make arrangements to meet the transporter on a Friday, at one of the following locations/times: ⭐️To apply to adopt: https://form.jotform.com/212690945239059 Please email apps.aasr@gmail.com with any questions.
