PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

7/20/22 Introducing Rocky and Sparky! These incredible sweet little boys' owner passed away. Sadly family members either didn't want them or were unable to care for them. If you've been looking for a small breed, these may be the ones for you! We hope to find them a home together since they are bonded and have already suffered a traumatic loss. Having the 2 of them is less trouble than having 1 of most dogs. They are seriously the easiest little pair you could ever find. They truly love eachother. They eat together, play together, and cuddle each other. We are told they are both 6 years old. Rocky, the little tan guy with the super cool Mohawk, is the smallest at about 6lbs. We believe he is a quite coat chihuahua mix or possibly mixed with Yorkie. He runs the show and is the life of the party. Sparky is slightly bigger and probably weighs about 8-10 lbs. We believe he is a rough coat dachshund mix. He is more of the cuddler and seems more dependant on Rocky. Both boys are full of life and act like younger dogs. They are still very playful and they love everyone they meet. It is clear that they were very loved by their owner. Both boys are totally house and crate trained. They are quiet and really only bark when it is warranted. We have not had the opportunity to have them around children but we believe they would enjoy being with (respectful) kids and they have the energy to be playful with little people. Rocky and Sparky get along great with other dogs. Cats unknown but we believe they would be fine. They just have that "anything goes" personality. They are going to make a family so happy when they get adopted!

7:45-8:00am Milldale, CT
11:00am East Hartford, CT

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
