About Carley Jo

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog

6/14/22 Carley Jo is patiently waiting to be adopted! Her little family (Carley Jo, her sister Audrey, and their mama) were dumped in a wooded area near a construction company. We don't know how long they were in the woods before they made their way to the place of business but by the time they were discovered they were in horrible condition. Thankfully we were able to intervene and get their medical needs met.

She smiles all the time. I guess she's just so happy to be loved that she just can't help herself! You'll see her cute little grin in some of her photos. Carley Jo is the spitting image of her sweet mama. She has a wiry scruffy coat. She is about 6 months old and weighs about 30lbs. She may reach 40lbs when fully mature. She is still a little bit shy of people but she wants love so badly, it's easy to gain her trust with some baby talk and gentleness. Carley Jo is crate trained and working toward house training. She will need work on leash walking but she will learn with some gentle guidance. We don't know her breed, she is very mixed, but she's very interesting looking with her wiry coat and curled tail. Her tail almost makes a complete circle. She's a unique, precious little girl that is eager to find a family of her own to love.
