PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

Say hello to Buddy! This handsome dude found himself in a very crowded shelter at risk for euthanasia, along with several other dogs, simply because they were full and they’d been there too long. The shelter reached out to us, and thankfully we have some amazing fosters who stepped up to help some of the dogs. Buddy is one of those lucky ones! He is about 8-10 months old, Shepherd mix. He is good with other dogs and loves to play (though a little rough). He would be fine with respectful children. He is house trained, up to date on shots, microchipped, heartworm negative, neutered, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Located in Arkansas. Transport to the northeast is available. Adopter would need to be able to arrange for someone to pick him up from the transporter on a Friday at one of the following locations/times:
Harrisburg, PA 1:45 AM
Port Jervis, NJ 5AM
Southington, CT 8AM
East Hartford, CT 12 noon

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
