PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

Sweet Buddy has completed his vetting and Is now ready for his forever home.
Buddy came into rescue after being found on a busy road.
Despite all the best efforts to find this sweet boy’s home no one ever came forward

Buddy is a sweet boy who wants nothing more than to be with his person as much as possible.
He is crate trained (although he’s not a fan)
He loves to sleep with his person or if he can’t sleep with you he will settle for a bed beside your bed.
He loves car rides and does great while riding in the car.
He is house broken, he’s not a fan of the leash but he does walk well on one.
He does great with kids of all ages as well as other animals ( his best friends are 2 raccoons who are in my care )
He does great with cats ( he does like to chase and play with them )
He does great with other dogs but he is a dominant male and likes to be in charge so he would do best in a home as the only dog or with a submissive dog.
He does have food aggression with other animals ( not people ) so would require to be fed separate from other animals.
As for breed we are not sure.
He is only 11lbs and estimates to be around 2-3 yrs old so we don’t expect him to get any bigger.
Buddy loves everyone he meets but is more of a ladies man.
This sweet boy is the perfect companion as he loves everyone in our household but he does seem to bond strongly to one person.

East Hartford , CT 12 noon Friday

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
