About Dolly

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Housetrained: Yes

Just look at her cute little face...

Dolly was found as a stray in Arkansas. She had been hanging out at the dollar store for over a week when she was rescued. We searched endlessly for an owner but were never able to locate one. She was obviously loved at one point in her life because when we took her in for spay, we found that she was already spayed and and the vet noticed scars on her knees, so felt them and could feel some hardware in her knees. So at some point someone loved her enough to spend quite a bit of money to get her knees fixed. Sadly, Dolly did have heartworms when rescued, but she has been treated and is doing well.

We are guessing that Dolly is about 8 years old and she weighs about 60 pounds . She is a super sweetheart and loves people. She is a super calm and laid back pup who rarely even barks or jumps up when excited. She is totally house trained and crate trained. She would absolutely love a family of her own. A family to love her for the rest of their lives. Good with kids. Her only downfall is she’s not good with other animals.

If you think you maybe the forever human that Dolly has been waiting for, please visit our website adoptastrayrescue.org for an application.
