Bluetick Coonhound / Mixed : : Female : : Adult
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.
Lucy and Charlie (black) are a bonded pair of siblings who are looking for a home where they can remain together. They are very loved, but their owner had to move to Ireland for work and was unable to take Lucy and Charlie with him. They are mixed breed, but our best guess is blue tick/red tick hound mix. They were born May 2018 so they are going on 3 years old. These babies are very affectionate, well behaved dogs. They are great with other dogs, even tiny ones, very gentle with kids, perfectly house trained. They are up to date on vet care and each weighs about 50 lbs. These babies will be a great addition to any family but they must stay together. They are very bonded and Lucy in particular would grieve if they were separated. *If interested and you’ve previously applied with us, just send us an email to let us know* *Location: Arkansas. Transport available. Must be able to meet transporter in Harrisburg, PA at 2am on Friday, Port Jervis, NJ at 5am, Southington, CT at 8am Friday or East Hartford, CT at noon on Fridays. **Please message or email with questions. Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
