PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

Transport is provided by www.heartsllc.com or www.alphadogtransport.com once there is an adopter ready to accept the dog. Meeting the dog prior to adopting is simply not possible, unless you want to come to Arkansas (we would be thrilled to have you, if you want to do some traveling!)Please check the websites referenced to see if one of our transporters offers a stop close to you. We do offer a refund and to take the dog back into rescue, if he/she is not as described or not a good fit for you, if you let us know within a week of receiving him/her. 9/19/19 Huey, Dewey, and Louie came into rescue from a kill shelter in southern Arkansas. We believe they are Lab/Pit Bull mixed. They are absolutely adorable and very sweet little boys. They are currently about 9 weeks old. Their approx. date of birth is July 19, 2019. They have had age appropriate vaccinations and have been dewormed, treated for fleas/ticks, etc. They are healthy, happy babies and just need their own families to love. They enjoy being cuddled and loved on. They cry when crated but settle down after a little while. They do sleep in a crate through the night without waking until morning, when they hear us moving around. These babies will make great little companions for any family. Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
