PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

This puppy is located in Arkansas. He/She is listed in all of the states we offer transport to, but is physically located in Arkansas until adopted, at which time he will be transported out of state.

Jolene was found wandering a highway in northern Arkansas. She was skin and bones, only weighing 19 lbs on the day she was found. She was severely dehydrated and took several days to get her appetite back. After 2 months of loading her gut with good foods and high calorie diet she had finally doubled her intake weight and was ready for spay. That day we found out that Jolene ALSO had Pyometra, a severe, sometimes fatal, uterine infection. Luckily we caught it in time and Jolene has healed from that infection. She is miraculously heart worm negative and while she is still thin she IS ready for her forever home!

She would prefer an active home, as she has a lot of energy. She's ok with other dogs but needs slow proper introductions. Her favorite dog at her foster home is an elder great dane who doesn't exactly return her affections. But Jolene perseveres! She loves kids and car rides! Will you be her forever person

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
