ALL ADOPTION FEES WILL BE PAID DIRECTLY TO THEM THROUGH PAYPAL OR VENMO***** Dixie was a breeder surrender. She started producing bad puppies and was deemed trash. The breeder was going to euthanize her bc they couldn't use her for a paycheck anymore. When she came into rescue she had never been on grass or outside in the sun. She'd been housed in a pen in a metal building on a concrete pad with industrial fans to circulate the air. She had fishing line for stitches from her last c section which was only about 2 weeks old. Dixie is still wary of grass and dirt. She prefers to go potty in the driveway or on the concrete sidewalk. She has learned that you're not going to hurt her when you reach to pet her and no longer cowers. In fact she has started following her foster mama around the kitchen asking for pets. She still prefers to stick to one small area of the house and doesn't venture too much out of the kitchen or hallway. Dixie is good with calm dogs and loves kids!! She's ready for a home where she can be a family member, not an employee with bad benefits.
