PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

Meeting the dog prior to adopting is simply not possible, unless you want to come to Arkansas (we would be thrilled to have you, if you want to do some traveling!)Please check the websites referenced to see if one of our transporters offers a stop close to you. We do offer a refund and to take the dog back into rescue, if he/she is not as described or not a good fit for you, if you let us know within a week of receiving him/her. 8/27/19 These little ones came into rescue as owner surrenders. The people that had mama starved her almost completely to death. The last picture is of mom on the day we rescued her and the babies. Mama (Honey) is doing great now and gaining weight and will be available for adoption soon. These little babies probably will not be very big, maybe 40-50lbs when grown. They are the sweetest, most loving little babies! Their date of birth is estimated June 24th, 2019. They have had their first shots and will get their 2nd set of shots this week, then will be ready for their new homes the weekend of 9/6. They are currently being fostered with several other dogs of various sizes, cats and kittens, and they are great with kids as well. They will make very sweet little additions to any family. Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
