8/3/19.

These sweet little babies were dumped in a remote area in Arkansas. Thankfully, a rescuer was able to rescue 5 of them but it was too late for the other 2. These puppies appear to be mostly lab but they probably have another breed mix as well. They are approximately 8-9 weeks old now. They have had 2 sets of puppy shots and they are ready for homes of their own. They are sweet, loving little babies that deserve a lot better than what they were given when the previous owner decided to dump them in 100+ degree Temps with no food or water. We are thankful we could help these 5 and only wish we could have saved the other 2. When they were rescued, each of the puppies had a condition known as "fly strike" which occurs when flies land on them and lay eggs, causing the hair to fall out in those locations. This has been treated and they are experiencing good hair regrowth in each of the affected areas. This is a testament to the poor conditions they probably lived in prior to being rescued. We hope to find loving homes for each of them, where they will never again be dumped and treated like garbage, but will seen as the beautiful creatures they are, and appreciated and treated as family members.
