Transport is provided by www.heartsllc.com or www.alphadogtransport.com once there is an adopter ready to accept the dog. Meeting the dog prior to adopting is simply not possible, unless you want to come to Arkansas (we would be thrilled to have you, if you want to do some traveling!)Please check the websites referenced to see if one of our transporters offers a stop close to you. We do offer a refund and to take the dog back into rescue, if he/she is not as described or not a good fit for you, if you let us know within a week of receiving him/her. Please understand, we are listing our available dogs anywhere we can, to offer them the best chance of finding the right family and having a happy life filled with love.***

Bear was found running along a busy highway in Arkansas. He was taken into rescue and no owner ever came forward to claim him. He appears to be about 6-8 months old and weighs about 40lbs. Bear is very social with other dogs and does well with cats  He would be a great candidate for a multi pet home, but doesn't necessarily require another dog to be happy,as long as he was getting plenty of attention from his people. We believe Bear is a German Shephard, possibly mixed with a smaller breed. But he still has some growing to do and will likely reach 60lbs or so once he is fully mature. Bear enjoys sleeping in the bed with his foster mama and we hope to find a family for him who will welcome his cuddly nature. He is house trained and is just an all around well adjusted, friendly, happy boy! Bear has been neutered, microchipped, and brought up to date on vaccinations. He is ready for a family of his own to shower with love! For more info, email kelley.aasr@gmail.com
