PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.
***This dog is currently located in Arkansas. He/She is listed in all the states we offer transport to or near. Transport is provided by www.heartsllc.com or www.alphadogtransport.com once there is an adopter ready to accept the dog. Meeting the dog prior to adopting is simply not possible, unless you want to come to Arkansas (we would be thrilled to have you, if you want to do some traveling!)Please check the websites referenced to see if one of our transporters offers a stop close to you. We do offer a refund and to take the dog back into rescue, if he/she is not as described or not a good fit for you, if you let us know within a week of receiving him/her. Please understand, we are listing our available dogs anywhere we can, to offer them the best chance of finding the right family and having a happy life filled with love.*** 7/3/19 Buford was part of an accidental litter. The rescue is getting the mama dog spayed since her owner failed to do so. The mama dog is 1/2 lab and 1/2 basset hound. Daddy is a small mixed breed that looks like a corgi mix. The puppies are adorable but were in very poor condition when we got them. There were 6 puppies and only 2 survived. They were so full of worms and so malnourished by the time we were contacted to help them, that it was too late for most of the puppies. Buford and Waylon are doing great and are now ready for their forever homes. Their estimated date of birth is April 9. For more info email kelley.aasr@gmail.com More about WaylonGood with Dogs, Good with Kids Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350.
