PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

Update 4/29/19 "Domino is a loving girl who has lived a rough life. She was used for breeding for years, she seems to never have known grass, toys, a bed, or affection before being rescued in November. She adores people, especially men. She is house trained and spayed. She is going through heartworm treatment this week. The vet estimates she is about 8 years old. She is trying to learn manners around other dogs. Domino would do best in a home with no pets, but could possibly do well in a home with another dog with the right person guiding her. She doesn't know her own strength and would also do best in a home without small children. She is very sweet with people and would love to have a home where she can snuggle on the couch with someone. 1/25/19 Domino is a lovely little lady who has had a very rough life. She came into rescue from a high kill shelter, along with her 3 newborn babies. She's been such a great little mama but now that her puppies have all been adopted, it's time to find Domino her happy ever after. Domino is dog selective and would do best as the only pet in the home, or with an experienced adopter who can put some effort and time into training her to accept another dog. She isn't what I would call dog aggressive, and has made progress with the other dogs in her foster home. But she still needs training to be trustworthy with another dog. Cats are a definite no for Domino. She loves people and has the potential to be a very loving, loyal family member in the right home. We would recommend older kids, or no kids in the home, as we have not had the opportunity to properly test her around young children. Domino needs a joke with a family who can show her a lot of love and patience, along with gentle training. We don't know what her life consisted of before she went to the shelter but she has many scars that lead us to think she has suffered a lot of abuse. We believe Domino is about 5 years old. She is beautiful with her big blocky head and stocky little body. Domino longs to love and be loved. She is so grateful to her foster family for the love they've shown her, and she has returned their love a million times over. She will do the same to any family who will show her the kindness she deserves. Domino is house trained and walks well on leash. Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
