We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

Hi! I'm Gunner. My foster Mom says I am incredibly handsome, and super sweet, and have good manners!! I am 5 months old and I weighed 30 pounds on 5/20/18. 

I would be so happy in a forever home where I can run and play with other dogs, or children - I love them ! Even if I had my very own person that likes to walk, hike, or run - I would love to be right there by your side. 

I got all 2 puppy vaccinations, rabies vaccination, bordetella, and I am protected from fleas, ticks, and heartworms, plus I have been wormed on schedule. You will get a microchip ($25 is included for this - no more fees ever!) and the information to put me under your name on the computer.

I am a people lover, I like to do what you say because I know that makes you happy ! I know how to 'Sit' and I am learning new commands too. 

My adoption donation is $375, which pays the vet for all the medicine she gave me that makes me 100% healthy :)

You can visit www.arruff.org and download an application from there (click, save, fill it out, save, send) If it won't work, please email krun11@sbcglobal.net and you will get one via email. 

Upon approval of your application, and receipt of the adoption donation, then I get a spot on a transport!! 

TRANSPORT INFORMATION: The transport company we use is Freedom Riders Transport, and they transport puppies and dogs from Arkansas up to the NE US every weekend; their fee is $140.

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
