PLEASE READ ALL INFO BEFORE EMAILING. HARPER IS LOCATED IN ARKANSAS. SHE IS LISTED FOR ADOPTION IN ALL OF THE STATES WE OFFER TRANSPORT TO OR NEAR. SHE IS IN ARKANSAS. SHE WILL REMAIN IN ARKANSAS UNTIL ADOPTED, AT WHICH TIME SHE WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO HER NEW FAMILY. LOOK at the HUGE smile on Harper's face :) This sweet 2 year old girl was rescued by a loving lady who found her - starving, and so very thin, and with one leg dangling :( Harper was still nursing a litter of puppies that she had recently delivered, and these people that owned her gave all of her puppies away WAY too young, and then threatened to kill Harper. Harper missed her babies... she searched for them. She was attempting to cross the road looking for them, and she was run over by a car. The car crushed her rear right leg, and then, all she could do was lie in the road as she could not move. My friend rescued Harper, brought her home, fed her, fattened her up, then had her spayed and 100% vetted, and had to have her leg amputated, as it had been uncared for by those other people :( BUT she gets along just fine now that she is all healed up :) She is now 100% healed, and is so happy, even after everything that has happened to her in her past... All she wants is to love people - especially children -- and she LOVES a belly rub - as you can tell from the pictures :) When she sees a person, she immediately rolls over onto her back so they can pet her tummy :) My fellow rescue friend recently had a major heart attack, and is now so very weak, on medication that keeps her down, and it has come to the point where she can physically not take proper care of all of the dogs that she has rescued, so she asked for my help in beginning to place them all in wonderful forever homes... Harper would be so happy in a forever home where she can run, and play, and get all the belly rubs she wants :) She ADORES children!! She will alert her Mom when strangers pull in the driveway, but once Mom tells her "It's OK", she will stop and go lie down. Harper loves other dogs, as you can see her and her buddy Daisy in the pictures. She kind of likes her own food to herself, but so do I -- So feeding her separately would be a good idea. She probably doesn't need to be around cats, just a dog thing... some do not like cats. HARPER is a such a joy! She weighs 70 pounds, and has been taken such good care of by her rescuer :) Harper will be microchipped, and the information to register her under your name will be provided at no extra cost, and no yearly fees ever... Her adoption donation is $250, which covers the costs of all medical attention received. Upon approval of your application, and receipt of the adoption donation, we can then make a reservation for your sweetie on transport, at whatever stop you choose.
