We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

3.30.18 Gunner and his brother Marley were rescued from a kill shelter in AR. Gunner appears to be a Catahoula/Feist mix. He looks like a mini Catahoula. He is about 30 lbs and is pretty close to full grown at this point. He is about 10-12 months old. Gunner loves to play with other dogs of all sizes and currently has friends ranging from a 5lb Chinese Crested to a 100+lb Rottweiler. He is also very friendly with cats and chickens and does not chase either. Gunner loves all people including children and would be an excellent companion for a young family. He is not house trained, as he hasn't had the opportunity being an outside foster, but he is smart and will pick up the concept quickly, I'm sure. Gunner would love to make your family complete! Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
