PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

Theo is a precious 6.5 month old Beagle puppy with big brown eyes that are so full of love, and so is he :) He loves to be held in your arms and give you kisses. Once you bring out the toys? He is ready to play :) He weighs 37 pounds and stands about 18 inches at the shoulder. His birthday is 8/11/17.

Theo's Mom is a white Boxer, and his Dad is a Beagle, and we think Theo is taking after his Mom AND his Dad - he's mostly white like his Mom, and has Beagle markings on his face and ears :) Theo may be 50 pounds as an adult - Boxer and /or Beagle size, we just aren't sure yet.

He loves to play, warms up to people very quickly, and is a happy puppy. Theo needs to be in a home with children over 12 years of age, or a home with adults. He had a home with a little 3 year old girl, and he wanted to play with her, but his weight and strength were too much for her. So we are trying to find him the perfect home with the perfect kids, or adults.

Theo needs training - this is in our contract - EVERY puppy needs basic training... Basic training is very affordable, and it will give you peace of mind, and will keep him safe, as he will learn to listen to you!

Theo is always wagging his tail, and so fun! He loves to play ‘fetch’, and ‘keep away’ with his siblings, and with people. Theo is always down for a tummy rub :) Theo has never been in a shelter; he was born at a family's house, and is now in foster at a wonderful home in Liverpool, NY.

He loves people of all ages - men, women, and children - and will make an awesome member of your family. He is also young enough to learn that cats are the boss, in case you have cats. We have one here and he just ignores it :)

Theo has been neutered, has received 3 sets of puppy shots, bordetella, has been wormed, and is protected from fleas, ticks, and mites with Vetriscience tick and flea preventative. He has been microchipped, and all information needed will be provided to you for registration.

His adoption donation is $375 which covers all of the vet care that he has received, and includes his microchip. I have so many pictures of Theo, and videos of when he was 8 weeks old in 11/17. He is now almost 7 months old, and he weighs 37 pounds :) I have 5 month old puppies here that weigh that much, so I do not see Theo weighing more than 45-50 pounds fully grown.

Theo has only known love, so he has no issues. He just needs a family that can love him and train him and help him know what is wrong and right, and give him attention, and reinforce the training that he learns.

Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
