About Caleb

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: Caleb
  • General Color: White with Black
  • Location: 72002
  • Declawed: No

Caleb is 9 weeks old, weighs 15 pounds, and is a precious little love! This guy is SUPER smart ! Caleb is not in a shelter, he is in foster at my house in Benton, Arkansas. Transport is available weekly to the NE US - please see below.

2 days ago 9/25/17 - I was outside playing with him and his 2 sisters. Caleb brought me a stick, and just sat there. So, I threw it for him, expecting him to go sniff it and just run back for more petting. Caleb brought the stick back to me, and sat there and waited until I threw it again! So I did, he went and retrieved it, brought it back to me, sat, and waited until I took it from him! This went on like TEN TIMES! AND I have never taught him to do this!

This just goes to prove how intelligent the Border Collie breed is, and how intelligent Caleb is at such a young age - it is instilled in Border Collies to do these things FOR you - he taught himself. AND he will sit when you tell him to ! HE is READY for someone to take him home and teach him more things - he needs this, or he is bored.

SO - if you are looking for the smartest puppy EVER? Caleb is your guy !!

He is amazing - loving - gets along with children from age 2 to 18, loves all adults, men and women, gets along with his siblings, and my older dogs, ages 6 and 10

Caleb loves life, loves his siblings, loves ALL people, and will make a wonderful forever member of your family ! He will be the perfect pet for any person, a family with children - he loves everybody.

Caleb is young enough to learn that cats are the boss in case you have cats :) He will easily be housebroken by being on a schedule - he knows that outdoors is where he is supposed to go potty, plus he is a super smart guy.

He has been in a crate, and will learn to love his crate, he is just so easy going :)

Caleb has been neutered, has received 2 sets of puppy shots, a bordetella, has been wormed, and is protected from fleas, ticks, and mites with Nexgard. He is microchipped and will be registered under his adopter's name :) He is up to date on everything a puppy his age needs. We will provide all of that information to you.

Caleb's adoption donation is $375 which covers his neuter, puppy shots, bordetella, flea & tick preventative, and all of the continual vet care, medical needs, preventative care, day to day needs, and all fees associated with the microchip.

Please contact krun11@sbcglobal.net for more information !!
