PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

UPDATED INFO: 5/1/18 Buddy is now located in a foster home in NJ. He left Arkansas when he had an approved adopter who said she was ready for him, but then after the transport was already en route, she decided she wasn't going to adopt him after all. So he went to a foster home. He is doing great in his foster home. He is crate trained and is almost all the way house trained now. Buddy gets along great with the other dogs and loves all people. 9/15/17 Boudreaux is a German Shepherd mix. We don't know what he is mixed with but he is a super sweet guy! He was surrendered by his owner due to time constraints. Buddy has lived outside and may need some training to learn house manners but I am confident that he will pick it up quickly and will make a wonderful companion. He is loving and eager to please, which will help with his training. Boudreaux (AKA Buddy) did fine with the other dog in his previous home. With proper introduction, Buddy would be a good companion for another dog as well as his adopter. He is about 2-3 years old and weighs 45lbs. We have had him neutered and he will be treated for heartworms on Sept. 25. Once he gets over his treatment, he will be ready for his new home. Boudreaux is not particularly high energy, but certainly has enough energy to keep up on walks/hikes and/or runs once he is built up to it. Buddy is located in Arkansas and will be transported out of state once adopted. He is listed for adoption in all of the states that we offer transport to, or close to. Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
