American Pit Bull Terrier : : Female : : Adult : : Medium
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.
4.18.17 This gorgeous, blue brindle, girl is an owner surrender. She is in a great foster home and is doing really well there. Harley gets along great with other dogs and has been fine with the cat in her foster home. She may need reinforcement on this with a new cat, but she definitely has the potential to be cat friendly. She adores children. She does love to lick faces but we are working on that part. Harley is completely crate trained and house broken. She stays in her crate when her foster mom leaves the house as her previous owner said she suffers from separation anxiety. She doesn't shred anything left in her crate-just sleeps. She knows "sit", "down", "come", and is learning how to walk on a leash properly. Harley will need a place with a 6 foot fence or something solid she can't climb-as she can climb fences. Her foster family has a chain link that is barely 4 feet high, and she can climb that. She usually climbs because she's trying to come around to the front door to be closer to the foster family during her potty breaks. She needs a home where she will not be left outside unattended. Harley is spayed, up to date on vaccines, heart worm negative, and is on once a month prevention, as well. She is located in Arkansas but can be transported out of state once adopted.
