PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

8/29/16 Charlotte is a wonderful girl who came into rescue when her owner became incarcerated. Charlotte is 18mo old and is a Great Dane. She is completely deaf and needs a home with someone who has some experience training deaf dogs - preferably giant breeds. CHarlotte is good with other dogs but because she cannot hear them growling to signal that play time is over, she keeps trying to play and it aggravates the other dogs in her foster home. She is very energetic and only wants to play. Charlotte needs to learn some manners - she is a counter surfer and will steal the food off your plate if you aren't watching. But despite needing to learn some manners, she is a wonderful girl. She is very friendly with everyone she meets. She has no shyness tendencies and just wants to give everyone kisses. She loves to snuggle in bed next to foster mom and would love a home where that is allowed. She is house trained and only had 2 accidents in several weeks at the foster home. Charlotte is located in Arkansas but out of state transport is available once we have a confirmed adopter. Charlotte's adoption fee is $450 and the transport is $140. Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
