German Shepherd Dog / Mixed : : Female : : Baby : : Medium
PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.
2/7/15 Emily and Elizabeth were born on Dec. 14th. Their mama was a stray that had wandered up to some peoples' property and they were feeding her and doing the best they could to take care of her. When she had puppies they realized something was wrong. They had no money and called me to see if I could help. We got her into my vet and it was discovered that she was septic, from an infection in her uterus. The treatment was to spay her which my vet did, but sadly she did not survive. She left us with 6 newborn puppies, and Emily and Elizabeth are the only survivors. They have been bottle fed and babied by their amazing foster family. We do not want to separate these sisters, as they are very bonded. Their mom was a mixed breed who resembled a smaller version of a Doberman Pinscher, weighing about 35-40lbs. We believe Emily and Elizabeth are mixed with German Shepherd Dog. They are almost little twins, but one has a nub tail and the other one has a full tail. These little girls are almost 2 months old now. They will be ready for their new homes in about a month. They have learned to use puppy pads and they do great with that, so it should be a fairly easy transition to house train them. We are looking for a home for these babies where they will continue to receive the cuddling, loving, and nurturing that they are accustomed to. They are very special to us and have already been through so much with losing their mom and all of their siblings, we want only the most loving and patient family for our girls. :) If you are looking for cuddly, lovey dovey babies, and you are open to adopting 2 instead of 1, please email me. Emily and Elizabeth are located in Arkansas and will be transported to the northeast once adopted.
