PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

12-10-13 This super cute Chihuahua mix is Howard. He was owner surrendered along with his Chiweenie mom and 2 siblings. The owner is elderly and unable to care for them properly anymore so we gladly took these sweet pups into our rescue.  We were told that Howard was born the first of Oct so he is currently about 9 weeks old and about 4 pounds. He is fawn colored with 3 little white paws. He will be up to date on age appropriate vet care before going to his forever home. His mother is a 12 pounds Chihuahua/ Dachshund mix and super sweet- we have no idea on the dad. Howard does not look like he will get very big but we are just guessing since no one knows who the father/fathers were. Howard is currently located in ARKANSAS and will be transported to the Northeast only after being adopted. Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
