About Nina

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Housetrained: Yes

6/4/13 This is Nina! She was an owner surrender due to her family moving away and being unable to take her. She had just had a litter of 10 puppies and we took all of them too. Of course the puppies got adopted very quickly, but Nina had heartworms so we had her treated and now that she is over the recovery phase, she has been sent to a foster home in Mass, so potential adopters will have the chance to meet her and see what a wonderful girl she is! Nina is housetrained and gets along perfectly with other dogs. She is very maternal and while she was still here in ARkansas, she loved to mother all the puppies that come thru her foster home here. Nina's best friend at her AR foster home was a chihuahua named Logan, who we also have listed for adoption. Now that she is in a foster home in the Boston area, she has made lots of new friends, as you can see in her pictures. She really loves all other dogs, and is not picky about who she socializes with. Nina loves to play with a ball but doesn't quite have "fetch" down yet. She doesnt understand why she has to give the ball back! She loves everyone she meets and will make a wonderful family pet for any family situation. Nina is not a chewer and really does not have any bad habits that we've discovered. She is about as perfect as any dog could be! She enjoys cuddling on the sofa and in the bed with her people and the other dogs in the home, so we would like a home for her where she can continue to do this, as it is important to her to have that closeness. She walks well on leash and we have recently discovered that she enjoys going to the beach! She will bark to alert you when someone new comes over but she will stop when told. She is just a wonderful, sweet natured girl who deserves to have a home of her own. For more info, email kelley.aasr@gmail.com
