PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.
3/1/13 Naomi is a wonderful girl who was rescued from a high kill shelter where she had been dumped, along w/ her puppies. Her puppies got adopted quickly, but Naomi has been in our program for a long time now - almost a year. Sadly, Naomi tested positive for heartworms. Naomi has been on a slow kill treatment for about 9 months now and has done well on the treatment. She will be retested soon and we are hopeful that this time she will be negative. Naomi is completely housetrained. She is fantastic with all other dogs, large and small, young and old. She is also wonderful with kids, with her gentle and loving nature she makes an ideal companion for a family with children. Naomi enjoys sleeping in bed with her foster mom so we are searching for a home for her where she can continue to get some cuddle time. We believe Naomi is about 6-8 years old and she is about 45lbs. Naomi is looking for a foster home, or even better, a forever home! Her current foster can not keep her any longer due to some unexpected events that have taken place in her life. She is currently located in Arkansas and will be transported to the northeast once adopted, or when we have a foster home in the northeast for her to go to. For more info about adopting or fostering Naomi, please email kelley.aasr@gmail.com More about NaomiGood with Dogs, Good with Kids Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350.
