PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.

1/19/13 Introducing Tazzi! She is a six year old French Bulldog. AKC and APR registered. Tazzi is also known as Miss Piggy by her foster mom, because she snorts like a little piglet! Miss Piggy gets along well with other dogs, cats, and children. She is very good in her crate, which we call her "house". She will bark when she wants out of her crate to go potty. Miss Piggy is not housebroken, but she is learning. She just needs to be watched when loose in the house. Her foster momomy only lets her have run of the house when she has completed her eliminations outside. She knows how to come in the doggy door but has not quite figured out how to go out of it. She is full of spunk!!! Loves to have chew toys, frisbee, balls, etc... She loves to play. Miss Piggy also likes to be held like a baby. Miss Piggy is really good for a nail trim and does not react to the pedipaws to file her nails. Her favorite color is pink and she likes her nails to match her collar. Miss Piggy was a rescue from an individual who was not caring for her - she was flea infested and had a severe skin infection when we took her in. But she has completed 2 rounds of antibiotics and her coat and skin look beautiful now. :) Of course, we took care of the pesky fleas immediately! Miss Piggy is heartworm and parasite free. We have had her spayed, brought up to date with vaccinations, and microchipped. She is all ready to start her new life with a family who will love her forever! Miss Piggy gets along well with other dogs and cats, and although there are no children in her foster home, we feel that she would do fine with children 8 and older. Our typical adoption fee for puppies younger than 6 months old is $400, and for older puppies and adults, the usual fee is $350. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
